Does anyone communicate via pen and paper anymore?

Have you ever wondered what impact text messaging and email have had on people’s communication habits? A study sponsored in part by the BBC found that half of all communications are now done by email, 29% by text message and only 13% by pen and paper.

And the pen and paper number is only likely to decrease. The study also found that:

The results among those aged 15 to 24 who took part showed only 5% of their communications were by pen and paper, a lot lower than the older people.
