3jam is group text messaging plus ‘reply to all’ for your cell phone

It’s not easy to send a text message to a group of friends today. If you do figure out how, nobody who gets the message knows who else got the message. And there certainly is no way to reply to everyone and actually have a conversation. 3Jam solves this problem by providing a “’Reply to All” capability to the text messages sent by you and your friends.

People often ask me “can’t my cell phone already send text messages to a group of people?” Some phones can send text messages to a group of people, but no cell phones can send text messages to a group so that everyone in the group knows who else got the the message. Of course, this also means there is no way to reply to all. Imagine if you always had to BCC people when you sent group messages! Not too great to get a conversation started.

Here is a sample sequence of text messages from 3jam…each message you get from 3jam shows who sent it, the message, and who else got the message. If you reply, your text message goes to the whole group. Simple as that…it couldn’t be easier to use.
